The next leg of our journey took us to Paske which is the base to explore the Bolaven Plateau we hired a motor bike and we have completed a route called the Southern Swing which was a total of 450km some of which the roads were in a pretty bad state to say the least.
We visited some very remote areas with no tourist infrastrcture what so ever which is sometimes a little bit of a challenge.we have met some lovely people who have included us into their lifestyle, but some have just stared at us. one old lady just looked and laughed another turned away in horror and covered her face. Food has been interesting we have had to be shown what to do, with certain dishes.
We visited the Bolaven Plateau which is a coffee and tea growing region, the conditions here are unique and it is much cooler up here. We have seen some lovely things along the way incuding a 70 km ride through pristene jungle, with cascading waterfalls flowing out of the jungle, and passing through tiny villages beside the track.

That is one awesome waterfall. Glad you are still enjoying yourself. It looks like you are in another world, which I suppose is what you are in! Off to Snowdonia next weekend to try and bag another mountain for my total - seems a bit tame really! love Sue
