So today was such a gloriously beautiful day😊 It was about 50 degrees but because the sun was out it felt a lot warmer and all I had to wear out was a scarf and my hoodie. Today I did some grocery shopping and got food that I haven't touched since ive been here. Which included eggs, sausage, yogurt and hot dogs! I even splurged on bread which I haven't gotten in about 3 weeks and milk 😊 haha. I then came back and made myself a FABULOUS breakfast including sausage links, eggs, toast and ketchup. It was so so good, by far the best breakfast I have had since Ive been here. I then crocheted some more, took a nap and then got ready for the gym. My roommates took me the park walk way to get to the gym. I didnt know you could go that way, I didn't know there was a park around our place. Man it was so beautiful. It was gloriously green with little flowers popping up in a bunch of random places and leaves starting to regrow on the trees. And added to that the walk was right along the river so oh man amazing!! Since it was so nice out the birds were out singing us their songs as we passed by. It was glorious and I will take pictures to show you how amazing it is soon😊
Once back I took a shower and then made hot dogs!! YES this is the american food day haha. And later I am going to go to the cinema with a few of my friends. We are going to go see "Leap Year" haha the theatre lied to us and said it was out last week well no it just came out yesterday here. I am excited😊
just a sickness update: I feel better today. I have phoebe sexy voice but other than that all the other being ill symptoms are gone. YAY! I think it might have to do with it being such a great day today but we shall see tomorrow. OH YAY tomorrow!!! I am so bloody excited- I'm going to the christian church I found :D :D I hope it is similar to christian services back home, that would make me beyond happy!! but we shall see 😊 I'll talk to you later, I hope you have a great day!!
oh ps- I read a report about a tsunami warning in SD and possibly santa barbara?? What is this about? Is there any different/less scary news from your side of the world? I will be praying, I hope all is well!!

hey girl! good luck at the christian church, i cant wait to hear how it went!!!! so im sure youve heard of the huge 8.8 earthquake in Chile. hundreds died and trapped, super sad! but it triggered a tsunami headed toward hawaii today (saturday) they said that 11am CA time that it would hit hawaii in 2 hours, but now it is 4pm CA time and we havent heard anything yet. so because of the earthquake, Obama made a speech this morning on TV saying that we are prepared to help Chile and for Hawaiians to prepare themselves, etc. He also warned the west coast (as i am staying with my parents this weekend about ten feet from the pacific ocean..GREAT) of ridiculously large waves. no one is allowed on the beach as far as i know but pretty much all we are getting here is large waves, nothing too dangerous. i hope all is well and that you feel better soon! i am feeling the sore throat coming on. good ol california weather, sunny one day pooring rain the next. :)
