Reataurant where we met the cruise people
We booked a sunset cruise at the resort for Friday night. Well, actually we booked it for Wednesday night and changed it to Thursday night, then changed it to Friday night because of the weather forescasts. We're glad we're here for as long as we are because if we were here for just a few days and Wednesday and Thursday were 2 of the days, we wouldn't be too happy. But, we are here for 10 days and the weather has been very nice every other day. I know those of you back home are shoveling snow and probably don't want to hear me bitch about overcast and 72 degrees.

So tonight we went on the sunset cruise on a double decker catamaran named the Cabo Escape. It was explained to us that the upper deck would be a real party area with music and dancing. It was a real blast. It had a full open bar and a fajita dinner. As soon as the boat leaves the dock the emcee passed around the deck with a bottle of tequila pouring shots. That was just the beginning. The boat took us very close to the Cabo Arch, which is the

famous symbol of the area. I've never seen so many pelicans. There were also some seals on the rocks there. Once again some clouds had rolled in and we wouldn't see the sunset on this cruise, but I didn't realize it until we got off the boat and Jan told me. They played all kinds of music and we danced to a bunch of songs. Either we were pretty good dancers or at least exuberant, because the emcee picked us out as best dancers and awarded us a bottle of wine. We didn't even know there was a contest.

The cruise lasted 2-1/2 hours and everyone was feeling the booze. We met a nice couple from Mexico City who took more pictures than Japanes tourists do. It was an outstanding time.
