St. Joseph Peninsula SP
our camper in the campground So we're back at wonderful St. Joseph Peninsula SP. The campsites are very sheltered here, but close to the beach. We walked on the beach yesterday after getting the camper set up, and picked up a few shells. Last night the weather moved in, as expected. We could hear the wind howling and the thunder booming. Rain on the camper is very loud. But we were cozy as could be, didn't even turn on our heater, as it was in the 60's all night. We can hear the surf pounding from the camper.
This morning is gray and windy, the temp is dropping slowly, and the sea is wild and dirty looking, totally different from yesterday. We stopped by the Cape Blas lighthouse and took a few pictures on our way into Port St. Joe to do laundry. We plan to stay here until at least Monday morning, maybe longer if the roads are still messy on the way home. Michael said he got 8" of snow, David 5", and Sara said they got 3". Hated to miss the kids playing in the snow, but don't miss the cold.
