Crap, crap and more crap

Well we went straight to the Indian visa place when we woke up this morning to see if by miracle we could get our visa before our flight tomorrow. Basically no we can't. Spoke to a guy who was needlessly abrupt and told us he didn't care about our flight and that we should come back at 13:00 to see if the UK authorities had yet cleared our application. Once cleared it would be another 24hrs till we could get our visa. We had thought that they were ready once cleared.....

Anyhoo we went back at 13:00 and then sat there till about 14:00 before being told it had cleared so we could get a queue ticket and wait another 1/2 hour for them to take our passports and the fee. We can collect our visa from 17:30 tomorrow unfortunately our flight is at 06:30 in the morning so we will just have to lose the flight cost boo hiss. Holding off booking another flight till we have the visas in our hands but hopefully we'll go sometime over the weekend. So we've booked another night in our hotel (got a 10% discount, possibly because they think we've moved in permanently!). Rob has bought The Road and two othre films on DVD and hired a DVD player from the hotel so at least we have entertainment.
