Vientiane

This could be my shortest blog 😊

So we arrived here yesterday fine, was only a 3 hour bus so quite pleasant really. Searched as usual to find a nice guesthouse, a little bit more pricier found here. Had a nice dinner down by the river in the evening.

Today (Sunday) we decided to do some more job stuff on the computers since there isn't an awful lot to do in Vientiane. There are a few temples to see but we are all templed out now to be honest and have got quite a bit of stuff to sort out. Tonight we will have some dinner again down by the river were there is also a night market so will have a little wander down there.

Then tomorrow we are heading back to Thailand down to the south islands and have got a huge journey. So tomorrow we will be crossing the Laos-Thai border in the afternoon getting a 12 hour night train down to Bangkok, then Tuesday morning getting another 10 hour train down to the south where we can get boats over to the Islands. So hopefully by Wednesday we should be back on the beach again! We both cannot wait. That will be our last 2 weeks of our trip, just relaxing on the beach and enjoying ourselves before heading home.
