I loved the decor in Abena's apartment
Today I met up with my good friend Abena who used to live in NZ. I’ve been promising this girl for 4 years that I will come and visit her “next year” since she moved over! Finally “next year” turned into next week, then tomorrow, and now today! She took me into her campus - John Hopkins Uni. We had lunch and this Indian restaurant. My goodness the food was good!!

We hung out with her friend in her beautiful apartment. It has these insane little back door & mesh on the window, looking like a prison. When you go inside you find they're two level homes (although 2 bedrooms) with gorgeous interior. I was really inspired by the african decor in the home.

Dinner was spent at my aunty’s place. That was great - meeting up with distance relatives. Improvised my igbo. As you can see the kids were climbing all over me. They were really excited!
