March 14th, 2006,
Day 68 of our cruise of 105
At sea between Cochin and Mumbay(formely Bombay), in South West India

Busy day
We awoke in time to walk our 2 miles and clear Indian customs (yes again), then trivia. The first picture is of Terry dictating his blog in our map room. Can you find me on the picture?!
After trivia, we joined our friends Leon & Ella and Mary & Robin and hosted a lunch with US Ambassador Ed Peck and his lovely wife Ann. As you might know, Terry picked this world cruise on the basis of the itinerary. Having been to Alaska with Holland America, my reason for choosing this cruise line among many others is the exceptional quality of the speakers who participate in the Exploration Speaker series and the ambassador was easily among the best we have had so far. We sometimes have 3 -1 hour lectures a day. We have historians, geographers, port lecturers, cooking classes, etc.
We are well and looking forward to Mumbay tomorrow- it is HOLI, the festival of colour to honour the end of winter. Holi is on the full moon- Happy Holi, Happy Ides of March, Happy birthday Daniel( we both love you dearly).

Happy Birthday Daniel
Hello my children, hello granny. - please send us news

Ttys, love to all
