Day 10

Today is a travel day. We are leaving Punta Arenas, Chile for Buenos Aires, Argentina. A very uneventful day. We meet Brian for breakfast, gather our bags and head to the airport. The flight is about three hours long and we watched "Evita" in the back of the airplane while Warren and Brian navigate our way to our new location. Warren's boss' thought this would be a good way to update their kids on some of the history of Argentina. "Evita" is an odd movie that is completed through song. There is no dialogue. I am not sure how historically accurate the movie is but it is entertaining and fills the flight time.

Upon arriving, we exit the plane to discover that the weather is much warmer and more humid. It is a refreshing change from the cold wind we had been experiencing for the last week. Our driver picks us up and takes us to the Hilton where we will be staying for the next few days.

For dinner we went to a restaurant, Cabana Las Lilas, recommended by our driver. We do not have reservations and the restaurant is packed. Those of you that know Warren, know that he can be very smooth when he wants to be. As we approach the front podium to ask for a seat, Warren slyly peers over the hostess' shoulder to view the reservation list. In the chaos, the hostess does not realize the Warren has viewed the list and our new last name is now Rosenburg. He requests a table for 3 reserved under the last name Rosenburg. Needless to say, we are seated right away at a perfect table outside by the waterway. The food was awesome! The perfect end to a travel day.
