Today we were in St. Thomas. We’d originally planned to do some shopping (Lin’s plan not mine) and then maybe take a cab to Megan’s Bay. But we ended up just relaxing most of the morning and then headed over to the shops at the dock after lunch. I bought someone a Christmas present and Lin bought herself a ring and maybe a few other things. The ring had to be sized and they said it would be done by 4. We stopped at a bar for coke/tea and French fries. Then I headed back to the ship while she watched the iguana’s and waited for her ring. After the ship left port it was time for Bingo so I headed up there. Still didn’t win Bingo but did win the drawing (well sort of I had the Star on the back of my blue card) and a $50 credit toward the Amber collection in the shop.

We had very late reservations in the Pinnacle since we’d had to reschedule so I spent a few minutes in the Casino and came out a bit ahead then went to see the show. It was a couple called Livewire who played mostly Irish music but a few others too. He played electric guitar and she played electric fiddle and they both sang. They were pretty good and it was an enjoyable show. Unfortunately Lin and I had our wires crossed and I thought she wasn’t coming to the show and I was going to meet her by the elevators at 9 but she thought I was meeting her at 8 to go to the show. I found her across from the Pinnacle and we were able to get seated a few minutes early. We both had the filet which was excellent. Lin was too full for dessert so they packed up a cheesecake that we could put in the cabin frig. I had the chocolate volcano cake and it was very good. We then headed to the Piano lounge and listened to Les who was doing a 50’s/60’s night but was also starting to lose his voice. He’s still very entertaining and everyone had fun singing along with yellow Submarine and others for the time we were there.
