Yesterday was a looong, strange boring day.

We were up to catch our flight out of KL at 4.30am. KL airport is rather flash with big spikey roofs like tents that are lit with little lights. The flight to Singapore was short and scenic. The little islandfs in the straights of Melaka, the crowd of ships and Singapore itself all looked fantastic from the air.

We then spent 9 hrs in Singapore airport waiting for the connecting flight to Perth. We did have a moment of business where we decided to switch hostels in Perth due to bad reviews about the one we were in.

Suse was having a shocker of a day:

1) Got her water confiscated
2) Had bag searched for knives at customs
3) Rang the same Perth guesthouse twice by mistake
4) Took us to wrong baggage carousel
5) Set the scanners off at the airport (seperate time to knife event)
6) Freaked out about hostel 1 hr before our flight
7) Couldn't use the phone card right

There was more, but we forgot 😊

We arrived at our Perth hostel at about 2am where I slept maybe 3-4 hrs before waking up at 6. I cant seem to get this timezone sussed.

Today we get to explore Perth, and were really quite excited.
