Beautiful family. Congratulations!! So the rest of our evening back in UB after thoroughly cleaning ourselves was spent completely chilling out watch movies 😊 Before we left on our trip I had asked my sister not to go into labour early (baby was due 28th) as we would be on our trip in the desert with no signal, phones dead and I would be the last person to know!! Managed to get in contact with lara and luckily there was no sign of baby yet, that was until I woke up Sunday morning with a text from Lara to say she was in labour and the baby would be there that night (Saturday night/Sunday morning). So Ste and I got ready and headed to an internet cafe to try and call the house on skype, Lara was planning on a home birth so I figured someone would be at home to answer the phone...but no!! Tried mums house,no answer, tried everyones mobiles,no answer...ok they areallbusy, after all mysister was in labour. Got hold of my brother who didnt know much except she was in labour...so we just had to wait to hear from someone, had a few problems with the bank which easily took our

My beautifully stunning baby neice, Lyla!! xxxxx mind off things. Basically 220 pounds got taken out when the cash machine hadn't actually dispensed the cash, it had said system failed, but the online statement says it cameout...pain!! Should be ok though, contacted our bank, we have the receipt just waiting to hear from them. I was still feel unwell, so that kept the mind of wondering what was happening at home. Headed back the hostel when I finallygot a text off my mum to say baby Lyla had been born at 3.48am, 8lbs 13 everyone was fine!!!! Amazing news! Didn't quite know what to do with ourselves, meand Ste were just like our awesome...hmmm what do wedo...so we went back to the internet cafe to call my mum to get all thenews 😊Was dying to speak to Lara but she had ended up having a c-section and was in hosp so I couldn't get in contact, but mum filled me in well 😊 Was soo happy for everyone, but so gutted we were missing it all and had no one to share all the news with but each other....first feeling of homesickness...mixed with happiness 😊 We went back to the hostel and told the french girls who

She clearly likes to sleep as much as her Aunty :) Good girl :) xxx had been on our trip with us, Lara and Ellis had text me a fewpiccies of Lyla so could show her off!! She is beautiful!
Eventually we had to pull ourselves together and pack as our train was at 8pm to Erlian, the town across the Mongolian border in China. We had decided to this instead of the train straight to Beijing as it worked out cheaper. The french girls were coming with us so that was nice to have somecompany. Finallygot on our train, it similar to Kupe in the russian trains and we were all in the same compartment. By this point I was feeling really ill, managed to be sick which made me feel slightly better but still had the cramps, hardly eaten for days and was so tired....so another early night 😊 Would have been a nice sleep except the train was freeeezing, plus I woke up at 6am needing the toilet badly!!! Was so glad that I was being sick andhad an upset tummy as whatever was in me was finally getting out 😊
We arrived in the border town around 11am, we were planning on then getting the sleeper bus to Beijing...lliterally

Games on the train to China a normal sized bus with stacks of 3 beds that are about 1 foot wide and 4 foot long!!! hahahaha but still least we could sleep a bit. Eventually managed to makeour way around this border town, find an atm, order some chinese for lunch yum!!!(think slimming world will have definitely gone out the window after china....soooogoood 😊 and cheap, 3.50 for 4 of us for lunch, managed to get the tickets for this bus and board us bus all ok. We were supposed to arrive in Beijing at 5am where we planned on going to Tiananmen Square for sunrise then trying to check into our hostel, all would have worked out except the bus arrived at 1am!!! Left us in themiddle of Beijing!!! We split from the french girls here as they wanted to walk to the centre (10km) away whereas me and Ste wanted to get a taxi and try and geta room in our hostel. Luckily they were open and had our room free (we had booked the private) so finally we were in Beijing, had this huge comfortable bed where we could finallyrest and and get some sleep!!!
