Our second game of the season got off to a rough start. As a team we came out a little sluggish and DCU took advantage of that and pulled out to a quick lead. I got in early foul trouble again and got two fouls in the first quarter, they wont cut me any slack over here, guess I am to physical, ha..We cut the lead to about 15 points, but never got closer than that. It was a frustrating defeat because as a team we are much more talented, we just need to use our talents together and we will be heading in the right direction. We are a team with not much experience (A whole new starting 5), but I am sure we will gain experience as the season progresses. I still see a lot of potential in the season and I am confident we will do well. They ended up beating us by I believe 20. Not going to lie it is tough playing 40 minutes a game, still need to get used to that. I thought I was well conditioned, but still got some work to do to get where I need to be. I finished the game with 14 points and and 15 rebounds. I am shooting the ball very poorly which is killing me, but they will start to fall, I am sure of that. Our next game is against Killester on the road. They are 3-0 and a pretty good team. Looking forward to this week of practice and the game. Dont like this losing streak we are on, need to flip it into a winning steak. Lets GO ELKS!
After the game the lads on the team and other people went to the new house some of the guys moved into. It was a great time and had a lot of fun. I put pictures up on facebook, pretty hilarious. Today has been a great day of relaxation watching football and american football. It has been a muggy day outside and nothing better to do then lay around on a day like this. Finally the Terps started their season on Friday with Maryland Madness, heard it was a good time. Wish I was there to play in the Alumni game, would have been classic. Good luck Terps, I knoww you will make us proud!! Hope everyone had a good weekend, miss everybody!!
Cheers
