We got a photographer as G didn't want to bother playing with the little one..
Oh what fun! Please do laugh at the ridiculous poses of us with tigers...


Ok, so we were a little bit worried after visiting Tiger Kingdom that it might be cruel but the website says this so we think it's all ok:

"We love Tigers. They are not aggressive as you think. At Tiger Kingdom NONE of the tigers are drugged or tranquilised, and we do not believe in using chains, restraints or any other forms of animal abuse."


We also read an article by a charity worker who went to check it out with his wife with no prior judgment and he came out thinking it all looked above board, if a little dangerous!

Then... we heard about this incident when we went out to meet an old uni mate of mine last night - AFTER we'd been to see the tigers: recent mauling. See below link for the story!

..so he had to stay outside the cage..

..We now have 73 shots of me with one of 3 young tiger brothers that were in the cage. Had to step over em!

..when it was calmly sitting in the water.. Took these photos ourselves as we were in together.

they're just waiting till some dumb shmuck comes in who they think is the weakest link and then it's al over.. Go natural selection... PS love the photos. Was their fur nice and soft and would you wear it? xo yashoda
