The other night I experienced my 9th TASIS bonfire. Every session we have a big bonfire and Tshirt signing for the kids. Sometimes I think the teachers have as much fun as the students. The nostalgia of it all has warn off a bit for me this year. Although at the end of the night, when the kids have all gone home, it's always fun to go into the dorm and let the little boys run out with their buckets of water to make sure the fire is out. It was only this year I found out that when we are all home, they actually go outside and pee on it, just to make double sure the fire is out.

Tonight I headed into London with the other administrators to Southwark Cathedral for the TASIS production of The Tempest. The kids were incredible ... I cannot imagine memorizing that many lines (Shakespeare nonetheless) in a matter of 4 weeks. As we were in Southwark we found a quaint, Londony fish market. Dinner consisted of Turbot ... I saw my meal lying in the ice with a face one minute and on my plate the next.

As changeover weekend is quickly approaching, the summer seems so short! I have finally planned my free weeked to Mallorca with the "girls" and am looking forward to the quiet weekend in Palma.

Hope all is well!
Kim
