Eurorail Trip Day 5

After a nice night in yesterday Gail woke up this morning wiht her arm covered in bites, no idea what animal inflicted them but they are very very itchy! So after much complaining we got up and about.

We meet up wiht our friends to very nice Austrian brothers Andy and Thomas that we have befriended on our short stay in Paris. Thanks for an awesome day guys! We all decided that we were going to crack on wiht todays sight seeing as it was there's and our last day in Paris.

We started off at the Hotel de Villes,which is the City Hall. we took some pics and had a look at the statues etc on the old building. It was okay not to amazing but another place to add to the list of things we have seen. we then decided to dissapear across a bridge and look for the Notre Dame, we didnt have to search long as it is so crowded with people it is really hard to miss.

Notre Dame was really amazing the building is absolutely unbelieveable and so pretty, the statues are every where and they are so prefect even the gargoyles eyes are amazing you feel like you are being watched. I feed the birds out of my hand and as you can see from the pictures it was completly wicked!

Next on the list was the Luxembourg Gardens and Palace, it was completely stunning, serene and very well kept absolutley gorgeous. The gardens have a pond in the middle and on the pond the kid push the wind driven yachts with sticks, they are gorgeous and just as you imagine them to be perfect with little children playing in the park. A prefect place to bring your little one if you lived in Paris.

We then wondered around looking for the metro where we headed off to the Place Georges Pompidou which is the modern art museum in Paris, not much to look at as it was brightly coloured and just looked plain weird. We grabbed some lunch at Quicks, thanks yves my burger was good however rickys was better! and bigger! hahah no pun intended!

We are now chilling in the hotel lobby listening to Taylor Swift after doing and telling you all about our day today after doing the Laundry next door and now going to order a huge Pizza and move room so I dont get eaten alive again!
