Today we were up and ready to start things off with a bang, bright and early in the breakfast room and got our butts into gear to see some sights...

We started with the Arc de Triomphe, which is is a monument honouring all the men that fought for France especially in the Nopaleonic wars, there is also a tomb of an unamed soldier there. It is really huge and pretty busy, It is in the middle of the biggest traffic circle in Paris. It is really stunning as you will see from the pics and quiet high, you can go up to the top but it is very costly and not worth much except the view of streets.

We then headed off to the Louvre museum, that was completely manic and so busy packed wiht tourist. we took some pics of the amazing glass pyramids that are built on the top of the Louvre.. they are pretty stunning we also took some pics of the buildings that make up the square surrounding the entrance to the museum.

we then decided it was time to grab a very expensive lunch and head back to the hotel to chill a little and sort out the hostels that we needed to start booking for the now tour that is going the oppisite way aroudn Europe.

We spent the evening just relaxing a little as it started to rain quite late and we decided a chill session was needed so that we could get the most out of tomorrow.

All in all a short day but very busy.
