We spent about 7 days in Tibet, finishing at the border with Nepal. The situation currently with Tibet is you need to have a Guide and book some sort of tour as permits etc are required. Excluding food and accommodation, the trip cost about 250 GBP per person which was much more reasonable than many trips. This price is based on our group being 7 people. 'Sim's Garden Guesthouse' in Chengdu is really a great place to book a tour and find people to do the trip with.

27th - Leave Chengdu around 9pm
28th - Train
29th - Arrival in Lhasa around 4pm
30th - Lhasa
1st - Lhasa
2nd - Namtso Lake
3rd - Yamdrok lake, Gyanstse, Shigatse
4th - Rongbuk Monastery, Everest Base Camp
5th - Old Tingri
6th - Zhangmu
7th - Border with Nepal
