"Hooray he's alive!!!" I know most of you are saying that right now. Its been seemingly forever since I last posted here. "Oh darn, he was better off missing" is what my enemies are saying right now, dissappointed to hear that I have, in fact, survived my three weeks in Muungoni, Zanzibar and month long research project. But I am alive, I swear. Also, I have no idea why my enemies would read my blog.

Ok, so studying traditional medical practices and medicinal plants in Muungoni was, in short, awesome. Learned so much, not only about my project but just about life elsewhere. Even though three weeks went by so fast (way too fast), it really opened my eyes to a lot of different aspects about Zanzibar.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, if you are an enemy of mine), I'm not going to go into details right now. Save that blog post for another day!!! (in the book industry, thats called a CLIFF HANGER) I would, except for two reasons.

First, I don't know where I'd start, a lot of different stories. And many of them would be ripped out of the context that they were in unless I was thorough and had more time, which brings me to reason #2.

I'm posting this at about 2 or 3 pm east coast time. Add 7 hours to that, and its 11 on a saturday. Psshh, I'm not going to be reminising on a Saturday night, its party time. Gotta have me some fun too you know. Soon, I'll be going to Bwani club here in Stone Town and I hear that the place has lasers!!! Thats going to be so cool, you don't even know. (I sure do appreciate the little things these days)

Nevertheless, I'm leaving you with a goodie: the link to my project!!! http://www.filebox.com/os8bcg3syxwl

Here's how it works. Click the link and wait about a minute, you'll see a little countdown on the page that forces you to wait. Once that's done, click the download button and you can either open it to word or save it on to your computer, I'm assuming, so you can read it again and again and again :-)

I tried the link myself but it didn't seem to work in Windows Explorer, although that's most likely my computer's fault. Maybe try Firefox, that'll work for sure.

Again, thank you for reading my blog, I sometimes wounder why anybody would care. If you have the time (maybe after finals for F&M), I'd be more than thrilled to hear that you read my paper. Seriously. It has kind of been my life for the past month and I think you might learn some new things about life over here. Take care and I'll talk to you soon. Salama!!!

Less than two weeks to go!
Don't know if you'll be posting again so wanted to write one last time. GA is really into your research paper and I eagerly await my turn. Thanks for keeping us posted -- pictures too! Enjoy the rest of your stay and have a smooth journey home. I hear your family is taking you out to Taco Bell on your return. If you have a few coins left, Toby might like for his collection. xox
