1: Bits of Parade 145 secs

St.Patty's Parade and Pubs

I know this is a little late but I have been busy and did not have a chance to post my Patty's Day events. So on Patty's Day morning I got up and met my friend Sally and we began our walk out to the Parade area to find a good spot to sit and watch. Unfortunately, we did not anticipate the level of enthusiasm that the irish have for the parade and therefore walked and walked and walked and walked till we finally found a place to squeeze in and watch the parade. I was super excited for the parade to begin because I had assumed, incorrectly, that the parade would have lots of leprechauns and other typical Irish things. But despite my wishing and hoping there was not one leprechaun themed costume or float. But I must say that the floats and costumes were all very nice. There was one very funny kid who kept yelling "whose your Paddy"and "kiss me I'm Irish".

So once the parade was done we (Sally and I) decided to walk around and take pics with all the overly prideful Irish... which means that we got lots of pics of the crazy hair do's!! But they are all on Sally's camera so once I get them from her I will post them. It was really easy to convince them to let us take pics of them.. all you have to do is tell them your Canadian and love their look and want to take pics for your photo album and that darn Irish pride swells and they excitedly prepare for a picture. hehehehehe

After taking many pics we decided to wander over to the Temple Bar to laugh at all the drunk Irish folk and boy were there a lot of them. We spent a few hours at the pubs and yadda yadda yadda....ohh they actually put green die into the River liffey!!

Ummmm I think that is it. But if I remember anything else I will add it later.
