What a Supertrouper of an idea it was to have our first Tradeteam "deployment to Project Outback" do at an Abba tribute night! We knew it was going to be a Midnight Special where The Winner Takes it All and plenty of the gang past and present turned up The Way Old Friends Do for a fling before Our Last Summer together for quite a while!

With a role call of 30 we headed into Tamworth to face our Waterloo! First up to experience our Abba-ness was Chicago Rock, you would have thought the staff in there have seen it all before but this seemed new to them! Maybe it was because the average year of their birth was about 1985!!

Onto the the Assembly Rooms we went. Would it be like the last time we'd done fancy dress at the Brotherhood of Man gig where every other member of the audience was dressed 'normally' and we walked in to stunned silence followed by a ripple of applause and wolf whistles!?! Yep! Yet again we were in the minority but we let rip anyway and danced in the ailes!!

In true Tradeteam style, 'what goes on on tour stays on tour' ... but here are some pics from what was a very funny night!

Thank you very much to Geraldine & Jo for the lovely 'Llama Llama Duck' associated pressie - brilliant! Thanks so much to Jools for our great travel towel and thanks very much to everyone for coming!

More pics to follow next week when Webby realises that she did take some photos with her camera!!

Checking In
Hi Guys, you must be really really excited now as the month itself has dawned. I hope you are not feeling the pressure too much. We were talking about you this morning and said it would not be long before you come out, so we thought we would check your countdown. We are in the Barossa Valley at the moment, cannot guarantee that I will come out of this place sober. Don't bring many clothes, you won't wear them, we wear the same things time and time again (we have washed them though!) bring plenty of shorts, but just be mindful that these lastcouple of months and the winter months to come in the south can be very cold at night. Don't forget a good pair of Polarized sunglasses and plenty of marmite (you can get Tetley Tea out here). Will check out you itinerary at some point to see if we are going to coincide anywhere on route. Don't forget your maps, walking boots (&poles if you have them), gators will help to keep the snake bites off your ankles (tee hee). On the Testra dongle we bought a month ago we used 65% of 1GB we have used it quite a bit so if you go down that road we think 1GB is more than enough. Take care and keep us posted Caroline & Andy

Your upcoming trip
Sounds like you are going to have a great trip. As I have said to others, I am so envious. I hope you continue the blog during your Australian travel. NRMA has a great book on caravan parks. No free sites, though. And its only $10/$11 for members. We took our Garmin GPS with us. It was great. We just used our credit card and paid via the internet every couple of weeks!! We did our trip anti-clockwise, which is similar to yours. Check our our blog, if you have time/interest: mytb.org/ThePass
