I'm sending this out to alert the new subscribers. People I've met while in NZ who have made my trip memorable. I haven't had a lonely moment since I've been here. New Zealanders and well as travelers from other countries have befriended me, helped me fix my bike, given me invaluable info on traveling by bike in NZ, fed me amazing food, told me stories of their travels and lives, and have been great company.

Keith, the man who saved the day by removing the small spur from the hole for my pin on my BOB trailer also invited me to dinner at their house for a "traditional New Zealand meal". That ofcourse includes mutton (sheep meat). I spent the evening before last with him and his wife tasting new foods that are cooked in new ways. I also got to try some of NZ famous real cream ice cream. Keith's wife exclaimed " So you've brought home another stray!" Apparently his friendly nature and history as a tour bus driver has led him to open his home to travelers such as myself. I think the largest group he invited over was an entire bus load of Asians so they could see how real New Zealanders live. I was happy to be the stray that got invited for dinner, great food, and great stories of his years of travel. Thanks.

Anyway, more later. Have to go.
