Hi everyone!
Sorry for not getting detials up eariler but its been crazy and only just got onto a computer!
Currently we are in Patong Beach in Phuket, and have been here for a day now!
We arrived in Bangkok and to descibe it in one word ! would use CRAZY.Everything is at 100mph!
Tuk tuk's where our means of getting around and we managed to get them down to 80 bhat, roughly 1 pound 80!
The food is also great and really cheap, eating in backstreet thai places for 4 of us with drinks and several dishes, came to less than a 5iver!
The first night we hit the market trying all wierd and wonderfull things, and eventually ending up in some tradtional thai bars... and shows! The follwoing day we did a walk of the local sights and china town again soaking in the culture and the wierd stuff they try and sell! On the evevning we went to watch thai boxing!
The next day we took a river tour of bangkok seeing the slums and ourskirts of the city before ending up and the Happy budda ) a huge 150 ft Budda) and seeing a snake show!
Our 500 mile trip to Phuket was meant to be by Train but they where all full........a 17 hour Bus journey it was!
