Hi Bloggers,

Its my birthday today, 45 years old, but still feeling like i'm 16.

My last day at work yesterday, and I tried to slip away, as quitely as possible, without any fuss or bother.

This morning we were cleaning the kitchen, you know emptying the cupboards to clean them out and throwing away packets of Angel delight best before April 1996 and so on Nesquick that was just a solid block.

My fantastic niece and nephew and my sister phoned me early to sing happy birthday down the phone, it was great.

Caroline's mum and dad came over with dinner and Caroline set up their web cam.

Friday looms and we have to leave our house, an emotional time it will be.

Flying 2 weeks Friday.

Back in the November of 2008, we embarked on an adventure that would take us out of everything that we were so familiar with, a comfortable life in the UK, friends, family and the English countryside.
