Hi all, just a quickie this time round. It's almost time to leave Boston and take our lives into our hands as we attempt to drive outta the city and head for the mountains and the trees of Vermont to see what's left of the fall colours! Just walking around the streets seems like the traffic is crazy so this will be a real test of mine and Michael's driving confidence and capabilities! Boston has been great though, we have done so much walking every day to see the sights but it's just as well to burn off all the food - I so love waffles, hashbrowns, streaky bacon and pancakes for breakfast! Don't think we've seen anything too weird over the past couple of days, except a huge 18-seater hummer limousine - only in the US - but we did go to that Jazz church service and it was great! Also, M has found out he is now an uncle to his sister Sarah's new arrival Alex, so congrats to the family and we did wet the baby's head with one or two beers!
Next time we write it'll be from Vermont after a no doubt hazardous car journey so
Election fever!Election fever!Election fever!

Who will you vote for - coffee cups say it all
be warned! xx
