Hi all

I'm pleased to hear that people are enjoying my blog I'm quite enjoying writing it, Yesterday i went to Ocean Park which is split between two areas in Aberdeen which is on the south side of Hong Kong Island. The two areas are joined between a extensive cable car system and it also has the worlds second longest out door escalator (as you can tell from previous blog entries I'm a sucker for worlds longest/largest/tallest anything)
The half of the park known as the 'Headland' is where i was dropped off, this was my favourite part out of the two as the lower part known as the 'Lowland' had mainly kids rides, the park has a mixture of rides and Aquariums my favourite of which was the Atoll Aquarium purely for the amazing mixture of different sea life including Sharks, Rays, Clown Fish and Sea Turtles. I didn't bother to go on any of the parks rids as i wasn't feeling very well and they were all very similar to ones i had been on before but that didn't mean i was short of things to do and see, i went to the sea jelly spectacular which I'm

I love this pic!!
sure you can guess was full of Jelly Fish which i found really good but disorientating because it was very dark in there and the only lights were the ones being shone on the jelly's, also there was a part where the only light was an ultraviolet one and the walls were mirrors so you didn't know where to go. The best bit i think of the 'headlands' and even the whole park was the show at the ocean theatre i managed to get some brilliant photo's and it was very entertaining and you could see the animals enjoyed it to.

The only part of the 'Lowlands' i liked was the Giant Panda Habitat which was so good, Ocean Park have 4 Panda's two adults and two infants (though they looked big enough) the older two were named Jia Jia who was the female and An An who is the male, the two infants were called Le Le (male) and Ying Ying (female). Once the pandas are older they are separated because they fight and prefer being on their own but Le Le and Ying Ying are kept together and although there not related they seem to get along like their Brother and Sister. The Panda's were so cute i spent quite a while in the habitat just watching them, especially the younger ones playing.

The whole day was so exhausting i fell asleep on the bus journey back and only woke up minutes before i had to get off, i then came back to my hostel and put on all the photo's on previous blogs which i hope you've seen.

Today i fly out to start my adventures in Australia!!! So I'm sure there are going to be many more entries and hundreds more photo's for you all to look forward to though there probably won't be another entry for a day or two because the flight is quite long and i don't arrive until Saturday.

I'll speak to you all soon

Alex
