So we had some good news today. They called the locksmith and since we are in the middle of nowhere I have no idea how much this will cost to bring him down in this remote place to break the hotel safe because they vault key is lost during one of the surf sessions.

Passport and all money is in the vault so this potentially can be bad. 4 hours later after a long hike I get back to receive some good news that they where able to get into the safe so a ding of $50.

Good times, so it{s off to a nice restaurant tonight to celebrate.

The next day was pretty chill. Morning swim and maybe abit of rum and then hiked 3 kms into Santa Elena which is more happening then Mal Pais. Took lots of pictures along the beach and it was a whining down time.

Tonight will be the last night with the boys. Joe is heading home and Botvid is going back to the Carrabean side. I am heading into the highlands and trek my way to an active volcano and visit a coffee plantation.

And then continue north

until I get into Nicurugra. Tonight will be another feast to see Joe off.
