Well hellooooooooooo strangers!!!!!!!
Long time no see...no hear...???? Eh?? Dunno!!!!!
Anywho!! How's everyone??? Looking after yourselves I hope????
I just thought I'd update you all on whats been happening in my neck of the woods since I last posted!!!!!!
IRELAND IS WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!!!
Firstly just let me say that after much deliberation I have come to the conclusion that the Irish are feckin crazy!!!...Throughout this post you will see why??
Anyway why Ireland? Well Erin and I decided to go there thats why? It was like Custers last stand basically.......Last trip away for Erin before she whisked away back to NZ:-)
Anyway.....slept in Manchester airport the night b4 we left as our flight left at 7.30am and we had no feasible way of getting to the airport at that time of morning!!!! First time I'd slept in an airport, but it was all gravey!!!....Got told of by security because apparently they thought we wanted to blow the place up.....Its not our fault our bags decided not to follow us lol!!! Anyway....woke up to some guy beside me having his breakfast and giving me a curious look as I had just rolled my sleeping bag out in the middle of the
airport and gone to sleep....Anyway!!!! Oohhhhhh I have to tell you about the flight!!!! Erin when she's UBER TIRED is some kind of funny man!!!!! Got on the plane and discovered duel purpose sick bags....Dual purpose cause you can throw up in them and then send the bag away to get your photos developed....we both took a piece of evidence LOL!!!! Anyway not long b4 we land in Dublin...the plane just decides to do a GREAT BIG FAT AS BELLY FLOP!!!!! Everyone's srceaming and little miss clark beside me comes out screaming 'THIS IS BETTER THAN WATCHING A MOVIE'....To which we pretty much both just pissed ourselves laughing.....We were tired ok!!!! I don't think the other passengers were impressed though lol!!!!
Anyways we finally made it too dublin where I think the bus driver didn't understand the meaning of speed bumps....He just flew over all of them at full tit!!!!!.....Anyway spent a night in a hostel in Dublin....after not even an hour there my wallet was stolen!!!!!!!!!! It was returned an hour later with all my money gone and by which time I'd also had my cards cancelled!!!!!...I was soooooo not impressed....and I've decided that Barclays bank and there credit

Anyway....not to be deterred we set of the next day for a 3 day tour around Ireland with the Shamrockers!!!!!! First stop was Clonmacnoise which is a old Monastic settlement on the banks of the river shannon!! Also stopped at a Whiskey distillery b4 hand in a place called Kilbeggan....Whiskey at 9am not good:-(
......we trundled of to Pol Na Brone Dolmen after that which is thought to be an Ancient Burial Tomb....drove past the Burren Plateau, which is a barren limestone landscape. OOHH!!! We saw a Fairy Ring!!! That was cool!!!! Drove up corkscrew hill, I felt a little bit sick after that!....Drove through Lisdoonvarna and then the last stop for day one was Doolin....Doolin was some kind of crazy!!!!!!!! Its a very small town which consists of only 3 pubs and nothing else.....!!!!! It was pretty awesome though.....Spent the night in an Irish pub listening to a real live Irish band....Ended up talking to an American couple called Matt and Erin, who ended up getting themselves into trouble with the Irish Man...... Anyway I liked Doolin, wouldn't mind going back there:-) Next day was an early
one....went up to the Cliffs Of Moher.....ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! Erin decided to almost throw herself off a cliff...well not quite....Everyone had decided it was good idea to get there photo taken on the edge of the cliffs....So Erin joins in, climbs over the fence only to land on the muddiest, steepest part of the cliffs....Man I thought she was toast!!!! Anyways that woke me up LOL!!!!! Apparently we went through or to Lahinch after that, but I don't really remember..... Caught the ferry across the Shannon to Tralee....Our Big Yellow Bus looked so funny on the car ferry LOL!!!...Anyway next please!! Drove past some mountains called Sliabh Mish(very pretty!) We stopped for a couple of hours in Dingle, which I fell in love with!!! I could quite happily live a quiet existance there:-) We went through to Coumeenole beach which was gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! It was a proper beach like the ones in NZ and it was remote as well!!! I LOVED IT!!!! Drove round Slea Head which was spectacular!!!! and then headed on to Killarney where we spent the night...Now Killarney was interesting!!! A scodey old Irish Man asked me to marry him...Erin and I went back to the hostel......Erin takes off
upstairs and leaves me talking to this crazy Irish Man......Within 2 mintues he'd asked me to marry him....It was insane he was stalking me around the hostel, he was insistant that I take him out for a drink!!!...I was like NO WAY IN HELL!!!!!!! So I pushed him of down to O'Connors where the rest of our gang were and told him that he could find himself a nice Kiwi girl down there...He seemed happy with this, as he trundled himself off!!!!...........Anyways CRAZY IRISH!!!!!!!!!!....So yup next day, was another early start!!!! Headed up to Blarney, where we were supposed to go and kiss the blarney stone....Now I had every intention of doing so.....and was geared up for it and all......but once I saw the stairs that I had to climb up in the castle to kiss the blarney, I thought SOD THIS!!!!!
Ya see the day b4 I had climbed a mountain to climb out to the western most point of Ireland....So after taking half an hour just to find the dam stairs to kiss the blarney....I got half way up.....and thought nah...ain't no way this is gonna happen today...Erin went all the way up, but didn't kiss the blarney!!...Anyway

After my mountain climb! blarney castle and its grounds are stunning!!!!....After Blarney we travelled through the County of Cork and the Golden Vale......All the way back up to Tipperary 'ITS A LONG WAY TO TIPPERARY! 'ITS A LONG WAY TO GO!'....Anyways after visiting the Rock of Cashel in Tipperary we finally made our way back to Dublin.......There was not one person off that tour who was not absolutely SHATTERED by the time we got back to Dublin.....we did like a million and one things in 3 days!!...But it was a blast....If any of you ever decide to go to Ireland....Definitely get on a Shamrocker Tour......Loads of Fun!!!!
The only day that was a bit mingy was the day after Killarney, most of the people on our tour had got themselves completely ratsed in killarney the night b4 and needless to say there was a lot of vomitting going on!!!!!
We had a crazy bus driver called Patricia.......Everyone else on the road was a FECKIN EEJIT!!! BTW those are the only two Irish words we were taught on the tour along with Fecker and Filthy Fecker LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
Jenny our tour guide was quiet but deathly funny!!!!!!

The Gang!
After the climb at the Western most it point of using indicators!!! If they wanna turn, they just turn....it doesn't matter who's behind them or who else is wanting to turn as well!!!!!!....... Sorry its just hard to explain all the madness of Ireland!!!!!!!!!
So after returing to Dublin, we spent a couple of days there and then headed down to Cork and then onto Mallow to spend the night with a friend of Erins...
Oh yeah explain the LOGIC OF THIS TO ME!!!!! We were going to catch a train down to Cork, but after discovering that it cost 52.50euros, we decided to look at alternative options!!!! .....We ended up catching the airport coach, which by all accounts was a luxury bus!!!! Leather seats!!! Load of room etc!!!! For 7euros!!!!! BTW the way this coach didn't actually go anywhere near the airport...!!!!....SO anyways this takes nearly 5hrs!!!! So then when we got to Cork, we caught Bus Eireann back up to Mallow which was only a half hour drive and cost us 12euros!!! Go FIGURE!!!! I'm not complaning about the aircoach though...It was quite an entertaining drive down to Cork.....About 1/2hr into the journey 2 of the passengers go up to the bus driver and say ya
Blarney Castle
The famous Blarney! know this isn't they way to Dublin Airport!!!!! To which he replies'Oh Feck!' They'd gotten themselves on the wrong bus....so he drops them of in the middle of nowhere and leaves then to find there own way back to Dublin....Its about 10mins after this that we here 'Oh Feck' again....It appears that our bus driver has gotten himself lost!!!! So after about 1/2hour of searching he puts us back on the straight and narrow....
Anyway LOL!!!! So Mallow was nice!!!!!! Except for the morning after when Erin and I went of in search of the bus station with all our gears, only to find that it was one little bus stop and that we'd taken the long way round and it was pissing it with rain LOL!!!!!!! So neither of us could be bothered getting changed, we were semi dry by the time we flew out of Cork Airport LOL!!!!!
It was neat to spend a night in Mallow with a proper Irish family....who were lovely and very welcoming!
Anyways I loved Ireland, I love the Irish ....they are my kinda crazy LOL!!!...I would definitely love to go back and am definitely thinking about a move there for the remainder

What the! Lol! of my stay in the UK:-)
I know there's loads that I've missed out, but seriously I just had such a wickedly good time in Ireland.....It was so much fun having Erin there as well, it made it more interesting having someone as cool as Erin and who you've known for years to travel with:-)
Anyways people I will leave you all with this......MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
