Photos finally! Feast yer peepers!

Well well. Its been a very, very long time since Ive posted. But here they are, here I am, and wow, am I having a really great time. Such a great time, Im actually out of time.. but I should have just enough to outline our route.

From Penticton where my last pictured post was sent in, we rode North to Kelowna, and then back south through Penticton to Osoyoos. From there we climbed Anarchist's Summit, over to Grand Forks. From there, it was off to Christina Lake, followed by the lovely section of the Trans Canada Trail to Castlegar. Then on to Nelson, followed NE by Harrop and Proctor, then down one of the most beautiful lakes in the world to Creston. From Creston, we went up and over to Cranbrook, and from there to our current home, Fernie.

Some numbers:
Number of massive fricking hills climbed: Quite a few.
Number of Kilometres ridden since leaving Victoria in June:

This is one of the places we were able to camp. Nice spot. Did YOU know, that orchards like this throw out tonnes of scarred cherries, the ones that arnt quite pretty enough to sell? We got a HUGE amount of donated cherries, we were eating them for over a week.

So, on our Trans-Canada-Trail journey, there happened to be tunnels. A bunch of em. And one reeeeally long one (~1km). And this one was it. Bring out the flashlights kiddies.

So we turned on our flashlights. And then, turned them off. And all we could see was this. That was ALL we could see. It was almost a kilometre away at first, a tiny little speck.. what a feeling, walking in pitch black, only able to see this.. wow.

And then we escaped. Horray.
