You know the story, what happens in Vegas.....you can rest assured that the college funds are still intact and that we have enough money to get home.

We stayed three nights at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club Resort and what a refreshing experience. A one bedroom condo is what we had. Full kitchen, king size bed, great pools and many hot tubs. We did not do a lot. We slept late we ate breakfast by the pool and tried not to burn our bodies to a crisp in the 110 degrees weather. How in the world do people live here? The first night we made our way to New York New York for some food. It was great! It is so weird to see roller coasters inside of buildings. We walked for a bit..finding ourselves overwhelmed with the number of people, the lights and the adult material being handed out...we soon found our way back to the hotel. We ate a buffet (yum!), at Cheesecake Factory at Caesar's Palace (thank you Gemma and Pa)...the boys' went and say the Pirate show at Treasure Island. I guess it wasn't about pirates so much as it was about sirens. I met up with them afterwards after visiting the Bellagio and the Venetian and it sounds like I had the better experience. Nick was disappointed that he didn't see anything (sounds like a 10 year old shouldn't have been able to see😊, Devin liked the pyrotechnics and Chris wished that there had been fewer people. I have no idea what they were seeing but I have a good idea. We definitely had some down time and got ourselves back together during our stay in Vegas. Chris and I will go back to visit someday.

I thought I would catch you up on souvenirs obtained so far:

1 Quill pen (Gettysburg)
1 stuffed deer named Blitz
1 pair of drum sticks from Stax Museum
2 T-shirt from Sun Studio
1 T-shirt from Grand Canyon
1 bottle of wine: Grand Canyon
1 ONE BEDROOM CONDO AT THE FLAMINGO, LAS VEGAS BLVD

Yeah, for those of you that read that boring summary the last line is absolutely true. I bought a condo at the Flamingo on Monday afternoon. There are many more details but there will be more traveling in our future.

We'll be in touch soon from Sunny Southern California!

Vegas!
A condo?!?!? Like a timeshare or something? Man, they must have seen you coming!! This has been a fun read! I am very glad that the trip is going well, or well enough. Melissa and I are back from our adventures in Europe. We had a great, great time. The only issue was regarding our luggage, which US Airways displaced on the way over. Melissa got hers almost a week later, and I got mine on the 22nd. US Airways did make up for this by losing our luggage on the way back! I am waiting for the next blog with baited breath.

Vegas, it's hot there you know!
Wow, a condo in Vegas, craziness abounds. I guess you just always wanted a place to go to let out a little craziness?! After having lived in those there parts I can certainly tell you that you should visit in the winter! What Mintz didn't mention is that we got Missy's bag in front of the Opera House in Paris and then showed it the sights of Montmarte, highly entertaining! Keep trucking and enjoy the rest of your trip, Su B.
