Hello I am Olivia and I will be talking about what went on today! Well we got up bright and early around 5:30 for some girls and 6:30ish for me. The island time is really weird. It gets early real early and dark early! The kids started banging on the gates to get into the area of the church around 8:30am we gave them the soccer ball and they started a game. Lucy and I went out to play with the little boys and a group of young girls instantly grasped on to us and went to the other field to play. We got really hot but it was time for the VBS to start. But when we got in there we found no comfort from the heat the power had come off and NOTHING WORKED! The group of Dave, Cam, Kara, and Alisha were stuck with out any power. But the Power of God was with them through the day! They tried getting the kids to listen and had to keep reminding them a lot! But the message, I believe, got across. We played the game and it went really fast I was so glad. After that we had hot
dogs I helped wash the VBS shirts hand washed. We went to the beach and had loads of fun! We came back to take a shower and we ate some chicken. The food was so good! Later we heard a second sermon on "The Power of Sex" and a lot of teens showed up! Even more then last night! There were more teens and they kind of giggled through some of the sermon because I guess it may have been akward to them. Over all it was pretty good today! And I believe that it will continue to become greater!
