Interesting place where they dye and treat leather. Got taken for a ride here though, two 'guides' demanded more than anticipated after the tour!
Rather excited as I've just set up my profile on Travelblog.org to document and share my impending journey to become an EFL teacher in Asia and all other traveling.

Just feel though it would be a shame to not share some of my more recent past trips with others. Only really going to post photos of these trips and perhaps add some more text at a later date.

Morocco:

Having already enjoyed a five-week trip in February to Malaysia, Borneo, and Singapore, my trip to Morocco in June was my second time away this year, and my first with a digital camera. For years I refused to purchase a digital camera, as a former student of photography I enjoyed the 'real' thing. Since my purchase however I have not looked back. Morocco was my first real chance to reap the benefits of turning digital.

In short the Morocco trip was a whirlwind tour in just two weeks, I started in Casablanca. Casablanca is a modern commercial city, not the romantic haven of the film with the same name, and was only going to be my arrival and departure point. Took the train down to Marrakech. This is

a city that never ceases to surprise, stimulate, and excite your senses, I loved Marrakech. From here I signed up with a tour and took a mini-bus through the High Atlas mountain range and out to the sub-Sahara desert. The group was fun and the journey was amazing, the mountains, Kasbahs, people, and finally the sand dunes, all fantastic. Went back to Marrakech before making my way out to the laid back port town of Essaouria, made (in)famous by Jimi Hedrix's visits decades before. The town still has a hippy vibe about it and I enjoyed my time there. There just a quick summery of this years trip to Morocco.
