Very beautiful, and we could actually take pictures inside!!
We're in Ireland!!

Thursday I had it all planned out for us to leave on a train from London Euston to Holyhead wales. We departed at around 8, due to train delays (someone jumped in front of a train and killed themselves at a station, so they were all delayed.). We arrived in Wales at 12:45 am. We had a 2 hour layover, then we boarded this massive ferry (more like a cruise ship) for Dublin. It was a 3 hour ferry ride, of which we slept most of it on the couches in the lounge. Once we arrived it was 6 am, so we took a taxi from the ferry port to the hotel I had reserved.

Once we arrived at the 'Belvedere', he informed me that my reservation was for 2 people not 3, which, I've checked, my reciept still says 3. But he told me he'd fix us up, but we'd have to wait till noon. In the mean time, he gave us a smoking room with 1 double and 1 single. James and I took the double, while Clara the single. We slept from 6:30 till around 11. Once we got up, got showered, we

went down and got our new room, which is much larger, much nicer, and NON smoking! The bathroom is actually really nice. Granite and mahogany.

Anywho, we walked all around Dublin yesterday. We went to see Dublin Castle, St. Pattrick's Cathedral, some terrible kid-viking exhibit called Dublin that was recommended by the top 10 of Dublin, and then some old Dublin Walls and churches. We did a bit of shopping, had some dinner and came in for the night to catch up on rest. Its now 9 am on Saturday the 12th here, and we're showering and preparing for the day.

We're going to: Guinness Storehouse, National Gallery, and a 4 hour bus tour that goes all over Ireland and takes us to a castle just outside of it. We may visit some other 'in Dublin' sights when we get back from the tour.

I've noticed a few things:

Anyway, I'm very excited we're in Ireland. I've always

wanted to visit this Country and I'm sad we cannot stay longer, and do more. I'd so love to kiss the blarney stone, but I don't think we'll get to. Oh well. Another time, another trip!

Cheers and Love,

Last I heard, they have the blarney stone covered up. I don't know if it's temporary or what, but you probably wouldn't have gotten to kiss it anyway.
