I thought barcelona would be a good place to search for a job, but i wasnt really enjoying the prospect of real job type job. i thought maybe i could find a resort to work at like in mexico. just some dumb job that might provide room and board with a bit of cash on top of it. barcelona is certainly not the place for this kind of work.

though a beautiful city, the seaport is a more developed metropolis than a beach goers lair. so, i resolved to head south this evening towards valencia and se what type of jobs i might find there.

the rest of the day i spent walking around the city, taking in las ramblas, spains most famous street, but really just a pedestrian boulavard. also the gothic buildings and churches infused right into the modern architecture surrounding them. its really a great city so far as i was able to discern. i would have enjoyed staying a bit longer but the cost was higher than i could swallow.

after some train hopping, i made it to valencia and a hostel named the red nest. so far it seems to be a really neat spot. i asked the reception about resort work near by but to my dismay he said there was very little. however he did know of another job which im considering presently. should i decide to go for it, ill fill you all in on the details.

for now ill leave you to it.

I felt the same way
When I was going through Barcelona, it was a really nice city, but the big metropolis cities are just too expensive and sometimes only good for a brief stop over. Valencia was beautiful, I hope you enjoy it there.
