Mister DonutMister DonutMister Donut

I have found around 8 of these little gems. Mister Donut has some of the best donuts around. I love these donuts. There usually is a line to get in and sit down. If any one ever visits Japan, you must have a Mister Donut Donut!! I think I have a membership or something. I think I have a lot of memberships to things but.......I couldnt say for sure.
That one word helps a lot. It means seperate or independantly of. I use it a lot when I go out to eat with other coworkers. I have taken to carrying a Dictionary in my pocket just in case. I am getting a bit better at picking up and saying a few things. I think I owe this to my Japanese teacher Uetake-san. Well we talk about music and guitars all the time during breaks and he teaches me a few Japanese words and I teach him English. So any way, I had been stalling on updating my blog here. I feel bad but I just did not have any pictures to put up. So I decided that I should probably carry my camera on me at all times when I walk around and snap pictures of random things. The good thing is, I now have enough for an update. The bad news is, I still am trying to get the settings right for night pictures.

Right around near my hotel is some baker or pastry place. I am not sure but there is always a line. Big long lines. This past weekend was going to be the weekend I stood in line. However, I went to see Indiana Jones instead.
sometimes at night the streets can seem empty. This usually means there is a good place to eat nearby and everyone is packed into it. I had some great yakitori this weekend. It was about 89cents a stick for the yakitori. So I will explain each picture as you read. I think everyone liked the haircut story. I have had a number of more stories like that. Just this past weekend at a small bar we were at, a few of us started to sing some Karoke. After a few songs, we got a request from a Japanese guy in the bar, after that more and more request rolled in, as did gifts and all sorts of congratulations. It was like we were mini rockstars singing badly all through the night.

I find the Japanese are very friendly when they are out and about. All it takes is a little bit of English and a few Japanese words. Sukoshi is a good word. Nihongo Sukoshi. Though if you say that they think you speak a lot of Japanese and let loose, but hey just smile nod laugh and you should be good. I have adopted my Dad's tactic of
