Stars of the screen
Memorializing our last presentationAnother monumental day for the Super Six. It commenced with a visit to the community building and a discussion of Telecom City and the city of Karlskrona in general. Truly a progressive and innovative town, Karlskrona's strategic location for cooperation with European nations makes it a strong force in the world of communication and technology.
The team had its final formal presentation, number 15 I believe, at high noon. After a minor hiccup to its beginning, the presentation was superb. We are now taking offers now to start a world tour!
After the presentation, we had a nice lunch, a walking tour of the city and a visit at the Marine Museum.
Our evening found us at the home of coordinator, Lillian Bjerstrom, and Swedish Chef extraordinaire, Richard Liden, for another dinner party. A gorgeous house in the country was the setting for a meal of grilled entrees (Chicken! Beef! Sausage!) and summer salads. We've gotten to really enjoy these dinner parties where we can relax a bit more, chat with the families, and have an opportunity to talk about our stay.

Where it all went down
The cherished place of our last presentation building that most closely resembles an American courthouse that I've seen over here. I felt right at home! Another casual dinner party tonight, and tomorrow is our last full day of the program. With mixed feelings and full brains, we'll seize the day to enjoy ourselves in Karlskrona! (Shopping is likely.)

This ain't the end, by no means the end...
This transition from the formal program (how long do you expect these Rotarians to cater to your ever whim, anyway?) to the long-lasting informal portion is a rather jarring one. Whomp! You're out the other end of the shoot, and left standing there, waiting to board an airplane. But I assure you - it is not the end. Rejoice! It is not the end! There is so much more to experience. There are countless opportunities to "try something" and "taste something", challenge yourself, revel with friends and strangers alike, and be inspired by generosity or awed by gesture. 'Tis simply the way it is... Lycka till med resan till Stockholm! Smaka på den djävla ålen, fegis! ...den smakar bäst med öl, givetvis! Kom snart hem, trött men glad, och då sitta oss ner och börja berätta om... Välkommen åter!
