My last day in Ubud was pretty cool, Got to check out the monkey forest and watch monkeys pester other tourists who held large amounts of bananas in their hands. Pretty much sat and watched the monkeys for a few hours and laughed myself to the point were i seriously had the monkeys pretty bewildered not to mention the other tourists and local Balinese people. After Ubud I had the pleasure of returning to Kuta 😞 to have a full medical checkup, which sucked but I guess was kinda nice to know that I am fully functioning, healthy adult male even though my eyesight was starting to waver a little bit in my left eye. stayed one night and then wanted something more (I've already voiced my opinions on Kuta) so headed to Lovina to do a little dolphin watching and snorkeling. The hotel that i stayed at was really nice, had a huge pool and pretty nice rooms for around 7 bucks a night. spent most of my time in the pool or around it. The dolphin watching was not what i was hoping for. I thought that it would be something like in San Diego where you're cruising around

with very little success
in your boat and the porpoise swim by and almost jump into your lap. Not the case here, we went out a sunrise and even that was with 40 other boats to watch a few dolphins jump out of the water and mostly watch the boats race over to where they were, all and all I saw about 5 dolphins so again pretty disappointed. The snorkeling was so-so, saw some cool parrotfish but that was about it. Met some cool dutch people who convinced me to climb a volcano (Batur) the next day so went ahead and did that. It was pretty cool, even though the hike up wasn't that easy since my flashlight sucked and I couldn't really see too well. Getting to the top was really cool, got to see the sunrise and then saw a panoramic view of the whole island of Bali, even saw Lombak which is pretty far away. All and all really enjoyed the experience. After leaving the Volcano headed back to Ubud where I will spend a few days before heading to Kuta (again!) for my flight back home on the 9th. Can't believe how fast time has flown. Excited to see everyone for a few weeks before heading down to Australia at the beginning of July. Hope you enjoy the pics and see ya soon!
