Helenee is probably warmer now in Iowa.
Fecal Engineer. That's my new job title. I say it without resentment, more with a laugh, as I plan in the next week to begin entering some of the wolves' enclosures to collect their excretions, and furthermore be able to analyze how their diet is treating them. Other chores including wolves will be morning rounds (fecal finds, water hauling, health check, and to even socialize with the wolves).

Today, I begin my first venture into the Wolf Kitchen where all the food is prepared. Weekly we receive donations from local stores and butchers of scrap or rotten meat. Our job is to separate it from edible and useless. Go meat!

SOMEDAY'S Update:

I'm still trying to get acquainted with the place. I think I am in a hurry it seems to take on all the tasks, make the place sustainable (at least myself), and be happy all at the same time. It's a heavy load.

In reality, things are really nice: I am living with a fairly active bunch of people (though currently everyone in the room is staring into a screen of some sort), doing some pretty holistic work, am on the way to a groovy diet, met a woman with 2 milk goats down the road and an awesome garden. Things could be worse.

My roommate, Josh, could not have been a better match. He is from Lincoln, NB. A town with the same highway running through it as Fairfield. Spent a season on Lummy Island, part of the San Juan Archipelago, as a fisherman, and he's gunhoe about my ideas for the place, as well as he is a good carpenter and can help out with any building I can't materialize.

This Monday I plan to give up using internet for the rest of June. So don't expect much more. It ain't essential here.

Hogan is the Navajo style cabin. We need a better name for it if anyone has suggestions.

hum, sounds nearly as good as cooking lagsana in Everybody's kitchen yesterday, cleanliness is not next to Godliness there... on another note Zavit, my new Israeli roommate enjoyed the company and Hebrew, on my back deck last night, with Heleni, Judy and Diane, we all laughed, at least Heleni and I, at seeing your movie on Utube from yester-year with Grego et al. Good travels, Debs
