Nibby- Oh Singapore, beautiful, clean, Singapore!!! How refreshing after the slums and filth of India! Talk about going from one extreme to another! I'm walking around the streets bear foot... just because I can!!! It's brilliant! Although saying that, we're staying in a backpackers hostel in a place called Little India, and they got that right! It's pretty similar, there just isn't any of the poverty here like there is in India. Been staying in a 5 bed dorm for 3 nights because it's so much cheaper than having your own room. Met some cool travelling dudes and dudets, all about 18 years YOUNG! I've never felt so old in my whole life! Everyone looks at us as though we're about to draw out our pension when we tell them how old we are. I think I might start lying to them, nobody needs to know the truth!

The journey over here from Mumbai was pretty uneventful. We lost another couple of hours so I think we're now 7 and a half hours ahead of you guys. Once we arrived and found a hotel (mega expensive for us!) we crashed out for most of the day. Hadn't had any sleep on the 5 hour night flight. Once we woke we were off to explore the city, and what did we stumble across... A STEAKHOUSE!!!! Best dam steak I ever had thats for sure!

There's not a huge amount to do here if I'm honest, it's such a small Island that after a few days you find yourself walking down the same streets, and going to the same shops.
Our second night in Singapore and we decided to do a night safari. It's basically going to the zoo, at night! It was really good. There's a tram which takes you round the park looking at all the night animals. We prefered to walk round though because you get to see it all in you own time that way. Couldn't get many good photos though because it was just too dark. Went to the show that was put on. Really impressed with that. Got some funny videos of the hilarious main speaker. A laugh a minute I tell ya!

We had our first beach experience on Sentosa Island (South Singapore) yesterday, the sun wasn't playing though and we got a little rained on. It was actually quite refreshing! Saw lots of little fish-ies and lots of BIG BIG fish-ies at the Underwater World and went to a Dolphin Show too, both lots of fun. I stupidly fell asleep on a sun lounger after a quick dip in the sea and got a little burnt on my face... HELLO BEETROOT NIBZ!!! How embarrassing! The sun crept out when I wasn't looking. Had a lovely seafood meal (beef for Matty) by the river with the city backdrop. It's so beautiful here at night with all the city lights and the reflection from the river. We've got some good snaps of it.

Moving on to Malaysia tonight to check out some of the best island beaches in the country, although Matt's just informed me that it's forecast to rain there over the next few days. Don't you just hate that weather man! I do. Nibbler-out!

Photos To be added real soon!!!!
