Simon & Lauren's Travel Plans begin with Lauren Flying to Auckland Via LA and Nadi (Fiji). After diving the Alderman Islands with the awesome Taranui, they then travel to Sydney, Australia. Simon will dive in frigid cold water looking for wrecks in the deep dark off the sub-tropical coast while Lauren Flies to Townsville to dive the awesome Great Barrier Reef with warm water, Minke Whales, amazing coral life, great onboard facilities and no wetsuit. No prizes for guessing which trip most people would choose...

Lauren reunites with Simon after that in Sydney and they fly to Manila in the Philippines before flying on to Koror in Palau!, where Simon will finally get to dive with Lauren in the coral paradise she loves so much.
Flying back to Manila, they'll take the night ferry to the Palawan Island group, staying on Coron for a week or so and diving famous WW2 wrecks and amazing coral reefs in the greatest marine biodiversity hotspot this planet has to offer.

Returning to Manila by crowded, noisy superferry (they're not wealthy, guys) and then flying to Bangkok, they will attempt to visit Siam Reap in Cambodia, site of the famous Angkor Wat temple complex. After gallavanting around Thailand/Cambodia for a week or so, Simon and Lauren fly from Bangkok in opposite directions and after several stopovers meet up again in New York, their joint flights circumnavigating the globe and delivering them to Miami in time for the International Coral Reef Symposium in Fort Lauderdale.

Sometime in July, Simon & Lauren will make the journey to Lauren's home in Williamsburg where they'll enjoy the sun, sand, and heat of the east coast summer before driving Lauren's Miata across the USA to Scripps Oceanographic Institute in La Jolla for the beginning of Fall quarter. This is where Simon will have to find a job before he gets thrown out of the country!!
