View from our Hotel room.
Here are some pictures of our Trip in Newquay. Newquay is located on the south west coast of England. It was a three-four hour drive from our house. The weather was really nice, but COLD and very windy. We spent a lot of time driving around. Our favourite stops were St. Ives, Lands End (kind of cheesy, but nice coastal walk), and The Lizard. The Lizard was my favourite, because it was the most southern point. There was hardly anything there except a small cafe, an old rescue station, steep cliffs, and really blue water. Mark and I seemed to hike on the coastal path at almost every place we went, which was great. I was hoping I would get to surf while I was in Newquay (where we stayed), the waves were great, hardly anybody out there (I wouldn't have gotten in the way), and I miss the water. Considering, the weather was still cold enough for winter jackets; the only water I got in was the heated indoor pool at the hotel. Hopefully we will get a chance to go back in the summer when it is a bit warmer. We had a really nice and relaxing time when

we were there. Oh, but I was very disappointed with Penzance. I remember going to see Kara in the musical Pirates of Penzance. I couldn't remember the songs, so I made up my own and sang them all the way there. Lucky Mark. Um, there was only one pirate ship, and no pirates walking around. Maybe, because it is out of season, but I was really hoping to see some pirates and hear some stories. Yes, I know real pirates don't hang around there, but what a thing they could market for tacky tourist like me. So, I won't be going back there. Well, it looks like the next trip we have lined up is Paris with my parent's and Mark's parents. I can't wait!

This was at Lands End. Now do you get why I say it's a bit of a cheesy place?
