people watching
Aaah, the memories. I lived in the Peg for about 15 years. It is my second home. We are staying with our good friend Moe, the best hostess ever! Thanks Moe!

The "essential experientials" I needed to do so far (a nostalgic quest) are:

1) Go into Prairie Sky Book Store on Westminster Ave and smell the air while browsing the new age books and looking at all the pretty imports and semi precious stones.

2) Walk down the block and buy 1/2 dozen cinnamon buns from the Tall Grass Bakery (no preservatives, and whole wheat!--this means they ARE good for you! haha)

3) Hang out at the Forks, watch the city squirrels, pigeons, take a stroll around to see the sculptures and murals, watch a magician in the centre market, (or musician), buy some farmers market goods (great prices for us budget travelers!)...

4) People watch. An essential thing to do when you've been in a small town for awhile. We come in all shapes and sizes. They say, there are 3 billion ways to live our lives. Every person selects something unique to add to their own way of life.

I am feeling complete.
Signing off for now...

Mural at the forks
Hey Reesa and Dave, The Mural at the forks was done by by my godmother's husbands son or grandson (forget which). Last name on the mural should be Valcourt. He is extremely talented and my godmothers husband (Gilles) paints as well. What a small world !!
