After a little break at the hotel, we head out to find dinner which really was never a problem (see the attached photos of the Plaka neighborhood). There was always actitivity in this charming area. We ate so much great food. We made it a habit to stop at a little bakery called, Pastry Shop in the Makrigianni neighborhood, on the way home most evenings. The bakery was owned by a woman and her husband, the husband was the pastry chef and everything I sample was heavenly.

The cafes and taverna are busy in the afternoon, but most Athenians don't eat dinner until 8-10pm.
