What did I bring home after the trips?

On every trip I often buy a souvenir of the place where I visit. They are the local specialties that I cannot find the same anywhere. I also love to collect coins, notes and postcards of over 20 countries. For me they are all the treasures in my life.

The souvenirs that I bought are simple and inexpensive. They can be paintings, plates, statues, fridge magnets, dolls, key holders, masks etc. Some of my favorite souvenirs are a plate of gem stone that I bought at the international airport in Yangon (Myanmar), Pharaoh and pyramid shaped statue from Egypt, masks from Indonesia and Fiji, wood carved paintings made in Sri Lanka, colorful wallets made from paper in Japan, a painting of Mongolian gers, a plate printing image of Sydney Opera House in Australia, photos of the highest mountains in Nepal, a doll from India, a painting of Kiwi bird from New Zealand, and a statue of Apsara dancing girl in Cambodia.

Đồ lưu niệm của các nước

Trong mỗi chuyến đi tôi thường mua một món đồ lưu niệm nào đó để kỉ niệm nơi tôi từng đến. Đó là những món đồ độc đáo mà tôi không thể tìm thấy ở nơi khác được. Tôi cũng thích sưu tầm các loại đồng xu, tiền giấy và bưu ảnh của hơn 20 nước. Đối với tôi đó là những thứ đồ quý giá trong cuộc đời du lịch của tôi.

Các món đồ lưu niệm mà tôi mua thường là đơn giản và không đắt tiền. Đó có thể là những bức tranh, đĩa, tượng, miếng dính tủ lạnh, búp bê, dây chìa khóa, mặt nạ v.v. Một số món đồ lưu niệm mà tôi rất thích là chiếc đĩa nạm đá quý mà tôi mua ở sân bay quốc tế Yangon (Myanmar), bức tượng vua Pharaoh và kim tự tháp ở Ai Cập, những chiếc mặt nạ gỗ từ Indonesia và Fiji, những bức tranh khắc gỗ của Sri Lanka, những chiếc ví in hình cô gái mặc Kimono làm bằng giấy của nước Nhật, một bức tranh những chiếc lều của Mông Cổ, chiếc đĩa in hình Nhà hát hình con sò Sydney của nước Úc, những bức ảnh in hình những ngọn núi cao nhất ở Nepal, bức tranh chim Kiwi của New Zealand, một con búp bê của Ấn Độ, và bức tượng vũ nữ Apsara của Campuchia.

Hand carved Indonesian Mask
I noticed that you bought Hand carved Indonesian Masks. I have one myself and am trying to find out the hidden meaning, can you help please? I remember when I bought it the salesman said that it is for some kind of protection. Hope you can help me. Thanks in advance
