Bangkok & Ban Phai

We made trip to Bangkok. Looking for sugarcane truck. For truck that could be used for hauling paper. But after translation cleared up found that weekly in Thai means 2 weeks---pay period. No maoney in hauling paper. Truck too old for sugarcane. So we are back to Ban Phai and the farm. Plan to go to Burma on Tue or Wed.

A new housing complex. Named " The Rich". They looked very rich, But as everything else it was surrounded by poor housing and factories.

Thank you so much for letting us all see your travels. It is so interesting. I have met someone some months ago now who comes from Ban Phai. Taeng mo works in Khonkaen, so it great to see photo's of Banphai. I have travelled to different parts of Thailand and I am in process of moving out there. Thailand is a wonderful country, thank you once again

Brian, glad that you enjoyed the photos of Ban Phai. I had not looked at my blog since 2008. But we are leaving tomorrow for another trip to Thailand, I just looked at my blog and found that there was a comment and message part to it. I did it before and did not have time to look at all the features of the blog. We plan to stay 2 or 3 months around BanPhai and Ubon. ed Lane
