Us at the 12 apostles
It was a sad farewell to "bondi road", Sydney and back on the road to Melbourne. We decided to take our time and camp along the way. First stop was the blue mountains, 2hrs west of Sydney, then we hit the coast and headed south to Jarvis Bay via Woolongong. as we drove into Jervis Bay Paul hit a Kangaroo, lucky it was ok and bounced out the back!

After this the weather turned on us and it was heavy rain for 3 days solid! We sat out the rain in a Cabin in Eden...it was pancake day so made plently of pancakes, watched TV etc... Once the rain had stopped we continued down the coast and into the state of Victoria, again we set up camp this time at Lakes Entrance - the place of "90 mile beach".

We then drove around Melbourne to the Great Ocean Road, where we spent 5 days camping at various locations including Torquay, Apollo Bay and Port Campbell. The Great Ocean Road is located at on the south coast of Victoria and was pretty spectatular with the a coast hugging road, and great surfing.

We are now in melbourne...enjoy the pics

I am back
I bet you have both missed my comments but I can assure I have been constantly logging in on your blog. Your photos are fab and you are both most certainly liviing the dream - I bet you never want to wake up. I am busy at work at my desk from 8 am but my holiday in 8 weeks time is spurring me on. Can't wait. Like the koala inpersonation Paul! Shame about the Kanga.
