Ballestas Islands!!

Sorry its been a while but i´ve been ridiculously busy!! So this is kinda gonna be a bit condensed compared to my usual efforts!
So we met up with the rest of our tour group last Wednesday and straight from the off its been busy, on the meet and greet night I tried roast Goat...tastes a bit like lamb and not chicken...makes a change eh!
On the first full day of the tour first stop was the Ballestas Islands, home to dozens of species of birds
including Penguins and Cormorants oh and plenty of seals too! After we finished our tour round there it was off to the Atacama Desert for a spot of sandboarding and sleeping under the stars!
To get there we had an awesome dune buggy ride, then on with the boarding...very much like snowboarding oly a bit harder...Chris took to it like a duck to water as did Brad, Ben was ok but couldnt control his speed and ending up planting his face in the sand at high speed twice! Oh and as for me lets just say as with the surfing....board sports are not my bag!

Anyone for a spot of air guitar in the Atacama Desert?! all off with sleeping in the desert under the stars with no tents...how cool!! (oh and it helps we´d had a bbq and i was a bit tipsy!!)
Day 2 and we make our way to the Chauchilla cemetery open graves for inca warriors and people many of which have been robbed over the years!...then its off to Nazca...home of the mysterious lines! Huge drawings in the sand dating back hundreds of years! The scariest thing about this is the minibus with wings you fly over the lines in! Some of the drawings measure upto 110 metres and are in different shapes like a monkey, human, dog, spider etc! When the pilot some how makes us experience 0 gravity we pretty much think we are gonna die....you know when you shart ie you fart and a little shit comes out...well use your imagination people!
I´ve actually been upto a bit more but im afraid im outta time will try and bring you all up to speed before i start the inca trail!
