Fock Ti
The appropriately named Fock Ti hola mi amigos!!
Ok so last time i posted, i was about to suffer a fate worse than death....thats right gang sharing a bed with another man. Well we did go out and have a few beers and check the local sights after all it is saturday night! Now Miraflores is a bit more touristy than downtown and to be honest there are a couple of places where people offer you shots to go in their bars etc (Magaluf anyone??) So we start to get on the beers when we suddenly wonder what time our hosyel shuts, baring in mind we are off the beaten track etc...no such luck we race back only to find he´s still open...shit.
Well it gets worse i manage to doze off (which is a mission in itself by the way as chris sounds like a frickin´hippo snoring) only to be woken about an hour later by the sound of a woman approaching an orgasm in the next room, i say the next room it may as well have been at the end of the bed it was so loud! it gets worse then the fella starts to get noisy!! goddamn it. Thank god
when it was all over...or so i thought, they went for it another 3 times that night and let me tell you if I was that fella, by the 3rd time i´m pretty sure i would have been telling her to be quiet as I´ve had sneezes that lasted longer! AND even worse chris slept through it all....unbelievable! (oh and the next morning we found out the hostal was called ´Fock Ti´...i dont think a translation is necessary)
Sunday night rolled around and we were off to the families that we are staying with for the next 2 weeks. Im in the area of Surco, which although its one of the nicer areas every house has barbed wire/electric fence or in some cases a security guard! Immediately it becomes pretty obvious that im going to have to learn Spanish quickly as Senorita Elvira speaks about as much English as i speak Spanish!
Monday morning and its my first school day for 10 years! Actually it´s pretty cool the staff are friendly as are the teachers and the lessons only have 2-4 students so you can get alot out of them. Including homework...what!! Oh and i bought a spanish/english
Downtown Lima
Downtown at Night dictionary so that Senorita Elvira and me could actually communicate over dinner that night!
In the next exciting chapter of D´s blog....the 29th birthday!!
