He was Irish from Foxford and did absolute amazing things for the Argentine navy years and years ago!
Feeling fresh as a daisy after 11 hours of glorious sleep. Was a bold girl yesterday and dropped out of Spanish school already... it was really formal and just SO not me. I know I probably need a strict place but day one of my adventure was not the time to start. So going to meet up with someone later who is going to another school. She has been here since Wednesday and is a pro!
So anyway went touring the city yesterday with the Dub, Alan. Went to Eva Peron´s grave (got photos but need to go somewhere else to put them up so all in good time.... ) - the grave is nothing wee wow, other graves were more impressive - then strolled around the city - so nice and pretty. Almosat got killed crossing an eight lane street - seriously had to run for my life. That copped me on to crossing at the proper places (bet Val is glad of this!! All the times I nearly got us killed in Galway!).
Went for an amazing dinner at the waterfont to a very posh restaurant (I know I´m backpacking but it was day one as I mentioned earlier!!)

Usually lots of flowers and people here - I guess I got lucky with a quiet time.
- had the best tapas in the world, followed by very fancy portebello mushroom starter followed by the best T-Bone steak in the world (had to leave half behind as it was massive) and all savoured with a scrummy Cab Sav from Mendoza. Life is great! Went out for a little while in San Telmo but I was pooped after the partying/travelling/eating half a cow so bailed out early.
Meeting up with Tara (American girl also travelling solo) this evening.
Right the blue blue sky and sunshine are calling me. Going to do a city tour to get better bearings although did walk what felt like the entire city yesterday! Love Lisa
