Hola! Greetings from Sao Paolo. Yep, that´s right. NOT Buenos Aires. Our trip started with a little extra adventure: due to a strike in Buenos Aires we are stuck in Sao Paolo for a couple of days. The only thing easing our annoyment is the 5 star hotel they put us up in with the full on service and three gorgeous meals a day. Rather a luxury considering we are backpacking.

Sao Paolo is absolutely huge. It´s the biggest city in South America and very multi-cultural. We were totally unprepared for it so only ventured out about 10 blocks each direction and as we are downtown it seems pretty safe. Weather is great, about 30 degrees so will have to check out the hotel pool this afternoon.
Hopefully the next entry will come from Buenos Aires. In the meantime we will enjoy a few more mango smooties, brazilian dishes and 5 * hospitality.

not bad as inconveniences go!!!
Hope that you are having a fab time in 5* luxury, even if it's not in the right country. Jealous of 30'c heat. Look forward to reading more about your adventures! x
